Completeness
Compares actual readings with the expected interval contract for each active point.

Solar Gate Data Trust Layer
Solar Gate attaches source lineage and explainable quality facts to normalized telemetry. The first release detects data gaps, late arrival, clock errors, engineering-range failures, cumulative counter resets and timestamp conflicts so operators can review the evidence before commercial approval.
The first billing-grade result is advisory. It does not automatically block or approve an invoice, and it does not replace a calibrated revenue meter, source security, contractual thresholds, meter-boundary review or the required invoice approvals.
Quality dimensions
Compares actual readings with the expected interval contract for each active point.
Measures source-to-platform latency and flags readings that arrive after the allowed delay.
Shows whether the newest site reading is still inside its configured stale threshold.
Checks configured engineering ranges, device clock behavior and cumulative counter resets.
Keeps idempotent sample keys and detects conflicting values at the same point timestamp.
Links the normalized value to the connection, device, point, ingest batch and payload hashes.
Explainable flags
| Flag | Meaning | Default severity |
|---|---|---|
| data_gap | Expected telemetry interval is missing | warning |
| late_arrival | Reading arrived after the configured contract | warning |
| future_timestamp | Device time exceeds permitted future skew | warning |
| out_of_range | Value is outside the configured engineering range | critical |
| cumulative_reset | A cumulative register decreased unexpectedly | critical |
| timestamp_conflict | Different values share one point timestamp | critical |
| unit_missing | A numeric or billing point has no unit | warning |
| source_estimated | Upstream source identified the value as estimated | info |

Lineage record
Technical parity plan
Now
Quality profiles, deterministic flags, lineage hashes, issue records and read-only APIs.
Next
Simulator, offline spool, retries, mapping manifest and verified connector levels.
Then
Expected-vs-actual energy, event correlation, loss waterfall and maintenance workflow.
Then
Contract-specific evidence gates, meter reconciliation and dispute-ready settlement packets.
Later
Backtested forecasts first; commands only after consent, policy, dry-run, acknowledgement and rollback.
The first defensible lead is transparent sample lineage, quality-aware commercial evidence and one normalized model spanning solar, storage, meters, buildings and private energy contracts. Utility-scale SCADA, global utility aggregation and VPP dispatch remain separate specialist capabilities that require real field pilots and partnerships.
